The R|F (radiofrequency) energy heats the underlying layers of skin, causing constriction and tightening of the skin, as well as the stimulation of collagen and elastin production.
R|F Micro-Needling uses a gold-plated needle device, which gently penetrates the skin, which triggers the body to create new collagen and elastin, while also delivering radio-frequency deep into the dermal layers of the skin.
As the R|F energy is delivered so deeply, it can produce faster results that are more dramatic than normal micro-needling (also known as collagen induction therapy) treatments. We usually recommend a full-face treatment rather than treating specific facial areas. However, we can focus more on specific areas if they need more improvement. These areas can be: crows feet, neck and décolletage, jowls and jawline, large pores, scarring.
RF Microneedling can also treat areas on the body, including hands, arms, knees and abdomen.
To enhance the longevity and effectiveness of your RF microneedling treatment, we recommend a series of 4-6 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. A series of treatments allows for optimal skin rejuvenation. After your initial treatments, most patients see results for 6-12 months before needing maintenance treatments.
